Putin and Obama hold talks on G20 sidelines

Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Barack Obama have discussed the situation in Syria and Ukraine in an informal meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Turkey. According to the Kremlin’s G20 envoy, Svetlana Lukash, the informal meeting between Putin and Obama lasted for more than 30 minutes. Putin’s aide, Yury Ushakov, said the leaders had an extensive discussion on two topics: “First on Syria and then Ukraine.”
