Pyongyang hosts first party congress in 36 years

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is holding the seventh congress of its ruling Worker’s Party in Pyongyang, the first such political gathering in 36 years. Analysts say top leader Kim Jong Un is likely to declare his “byungjin” policy –the country’s plan to simultaneously push forward economic development and nuclear capability.
