BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh today called Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi’s visit to FTII a ‘photo op’ politics. “He has to do politics and his capacity to engage in a constructive debate does not hold strong. Hence, he wants to have a photo op politics, so that he can remain in public domain,” said Singh. Rahul will meet Pune based Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in support of the students’ agitation there against the appointment of Gajendra Chauhan as its head. Earlier FTII students had written to him seeking his intervention to check the “assault on institutions of higher learning”.
