The Tanzania-Zambia Railway, a Chinese aid project from nearly half a century ago, will inevitably come up in any discussion on China-Africa ties. Almost a million tons of materials and 50,000 workers from China were involved in the 1,800-kilometer Tanzania-Zambia Railway. But now, that railway is not the only Chinese-built route in Africa.
