Fresh rain is hampering rescue work after Wednesday’s landslide in a village near Lishui City in China’s eastern province of Zhejiang. A hillside collapsed, burying dozens of houses. Earlier reports say that 27 people are still missing. Falling rocks and mud have clogged a local river, with the diverted water forcing villagers living nearby to abandon their homes.
