RAW:Argentina holds parade of military bands to remember 200 years of independence

Military bands of Argentina and 10 other countries staged a colorful and emotional parade through the streets of Buenos Aires, as part of the celebrations for the bicentenary of national independence on July 9.

Foreign countries sending military bands here were Bolivia, Chile, Spain, the United States, France, Italy, Morocco, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

On July 9, 1816, Argentina formerly declared its independence from Spain in the city of Tucuman.
