RAW: At least 16 killed in Moscow warehouse fire

At least 16 people, all Kyrgyz nationals, were killed and four others injured in a warehouse fire in northeastern Moscow.

The injured have been hospitalized, while 12 people were rescued.

Preliminary information indicated that the fire was caused by the defect of a light fixture in one of the warehouse sections, and the victims might have lost their way in the heavy smoke when the fire took place.

The fire has been put out, and Russian authorities have launched a criminal investigation.
