RAW: First bodies of Russian plane crash victims arrive in St. Petersburg

The first plane carrying the the bodies of 144 out of 224 victims from a crashed Russian airliner arrived at Saint Petersburg’s Pulkovo airport early Monday morning.

Two trucks then carried the bodies to the St. Petersburg crematorium, where identification of the victims is reported to begin at 12:00 local time.

Kogalymavia flight 7K9268 crashed in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula on Saturday, killing all 217 passengers and seven crew members on board, including 25 children.
