RAW: Footage of FIRST rocket launch from Russia’s new Vostochny Cosmodrome

Russian Federal Space Agency Roscosmos released video footage on Monday of the first rocket launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome, taken by cameras installed on the Soyuz-2.1a rocket.

The Russian Soyuz-2.1a rocket was successfully launched from the new spaceport on April 28, after an initial 24-hour delay due to an automatic control system failure.

The rocket launched three satellites – the Aist-2D, the SamSat-218 and the Lomonosov – into orbit.
