The XIII International specialized exhibition entitled “Arms and Security” has recently opened at the International Exhibition Centre (IEC) in the Ukrainian capital.
The exhibition has drawn about 300 companies from 12 countries and the delegation of Poland was the largest among foreign exhibitors, according to the press service of the IEC.
The Ukrainian state-run defense company Ukroboronprom said earlier it has put on display 237 pieces of locally-produced weapons and military equipment, ranging from small arms to armoured military vehicles.
The four-day exhibition, which kicked off on Tuesday, also features hunting, sporting and historical weapons, as well as personal equipment of soldiers and police forces. The exposition runs through Oct. 14.
