Raw: Putin scores one goal in Night Hockey League match

Russian President Vladimir Putin hit the ice at Sochi’s Bolshoi Arena, Tuesday, to play in a gala match of the Night Hockey League.

Wearing his usual No. 11 jersey, Putin jumped on the ice in the second period of the game for the Night Hockey League Stars, a team comprised of ice hockey veterans.

Putin scored one goal and helped his team to a 9-5 victory.

Aside from Putin, the Night Hockey League Stars team included several noted figures such as Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and legendary hockey player Pavel Bure.

The opposition team also included several famous Russian faces including Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.
