Russia’s Black Sea Fleet conducted joint drills with coastal defence units lately along the shores of Crimea.
The operations involved a simulated conventional enemy being hit with ‘Mosquito’ missiles from the missile-carrying hovercraft Simoom.
The strike was supported by a division of on-land ‘Ball’ missile devices which conducted their first live fire drills on the Crimean coast after recently joining the fleet.
According to Russian Defence Ministry, up to ten combat ships, five supply vessels and five aircraft and helicopters were deployed in the drills. (Video: Ruptly.tv)
