RAW: Russian Uran-6 bomb disposal vehicles deployed in Syria’s Palmyra

Russia forces in Syria deployed an Uran-6 bomb disposal armoured vehicles at the Hmeymim airbase in Latakia.

The move is to assist sapper units in their mission of clearing mines and booby-traps left by the Islamic State during their retreat from the ancient city of Palmyra.

The Uran-6 bomb disposal armoured vehicle resembles a mini-tank with various tools, ranging from grips to mine clearance devices, able to attach to the front plough.
