RAW: U.S. women’s soccer team parades in New York

The U.S. women’s soccer team was honored Friday with a historic ticker-tape parade in New York, following the team’s fresh World Cup triumph.
All 23 members of the team traveled aboard 12 floats, waving to the fans before heading to the City Hall, where New York Mayor Bill de Blasio addressed the team and the crowd. It was the first-ever ticker-tape parade in New York for a women’s sports team.
