Costa Rica’s Volcano Turrialba erupts again at 07:21 a. m. local time on May 20, sending columns of ash into the air at least 3,000 meters high, according to the Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica Volcano (OVSICORI) and the National Seismological Network (RSN).

“Since April 30, ash has kept falling on Valle de San Jose. Where it is flowing, it is much acid. This time, too much ash has fallen on the valley.”
The eruption lasts 8 minutes. Nearby neighborhoods are covered with its ash.
