Refugees won’t face closed borders: EU official

The European Union will not close its borders to refugees.
Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn of Luxembourg, which holds the EU presidency, made the remarks on Friday during his visit to Turkey.
Yet shortly after his words, Hungary said it has finished placing barbed wire along part of its border with Croatia in a bid to stem the refugee flow.
And Croatia has also sealed its border with Serbia, slowing the refugee inflow to a trickle.
