Remembering the Korean War to prevent fresh conflict

Tensions continue to spiral on the Korean Peninsula, with neither side refusing to compromise. CGTN’s reporter Cui Hui’ao delves into the past to leaf through the lessons that can help build peace and stability in the region. Lu Chao, Director of Liaoning Academy of Social Sciences, told the reporter that under the current circumstances, peace and stability on the peninsula can only be achieved through “a two-pronged approach,” which Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi describes as a combination of sanctions and dialogues.
