Voices against the deployment of the controversial anti-missile THAAD system are growing louder in South Korea. Kim Sang-gon, a candidate running for representative of the main opposition Minjoo Party, said the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye would be inevitable if she continues to ignore public dissent. Meanwhile, the opposition People’s Party demanded for a re-negotiation over the deployment at the National Assembly.
