Robotics renews hopes of people with disabilities

If you think robots only exist in movies, then think again, because robotics is becoming more pervasive in everyday life, especially in providing rehabilitative medical services.

Robotics developers are renewing the hopes of people with disabilities through exoskeletons, which can allow people with lower-body paralysis to walk upright again. From 2010, Cheng Hong and his team spent five years to build the exoskeleton robot, which has got more than 60 national patents in China.
