Roses lose their spell on Chinese couples aged over 30

Today, Chinese couples celebrate China’s traditional Valentine’s Day known as Qixi. Like in the west, young Chinese couples express their love for one another through roses. However, data shows that people under the age of 30 are the biggest buyers of roses, but those over 30 are not so keen on the flowers. Is it because love fades as one gets older, or is there a deeper reason behind it? CCTV’s Laura Luo finds out.
