Rousseff vows to fight on while Senate prepares her suspension vote

President Dilma Rousseff makes oath to fight on over the impeachment against her in Brazil’s northeastern state of Pernambuco on May 6.

the Senate decided to vote on May 11 for her impeachment over alleged mismanagement of state budget.

If the impeachment is passed, the head of state will be suspended from her duty for 180 days.
