In ten years’ time, rural China may look very different from its current landscape. This is because China is promoting Internet use in rural regions. E-commerce stores, online education and medical care are expected to spread to every village in this country. But tough problems await urgent solutions: last mile logistics, rural exodus, and social imbalance. Reporter Laura Luo takes us to two villages in east China to see how the Internet is helping put poverty into the past.
