Russian Navy in Sevastopol holds anti-sabotage military exercise

The Russian Navy has conducted drills in the Black Sea to practice repelling underwater attacks by saboteurs. The exercise was held in Sevastopol Bay. The special forces staged a neutralization of an enemy’s patrol on the shore and captured the mooring pier to spearhead the main force’s attack. Naval helicopters provided air support to the 400 participating personnel and 10 military vehicles. The Russian Navy said the drill was a preliminary exercise, part of the “Caucasus 2016” military exercise.
