S. Korea confirms first case of Zika virus

The South Korean disease control agency says it will take comprehensive measures to prevent the spread of the Zika virus following its first confirmed Zika case. The 43-year-old patient had made a three-week business trip to Brazil. Five days after he returned, he began to develop symptoms of the virus, including fever, muscle pain and a rash. The man’s wife will be subject to a genetic test and epidemiological investigation.
