S. Korea “on standby” for new sanctions against DPRK

A South Korean government source has said Seoul and Washington are on standby for fresh sanctions against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) after speculation that the DPRK is preparing a fifth nuclear test. South Korea’s Defense Ministry said it is closely monitoring the DPRK’s activities, especially after it just marked the 84th anniversary of its military.
