S. Korea says former first lady not carrying gov’t message to DPRK

Lee Hee-ho, the widow of late South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, will not deliver a government message to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea during her four- day visit to Pyongyang this week, the Unification Ministry said on Monday. The 93-year-old plans to visit the DPRK with a group of 20 personnel from Wednesday to Saturday this week for humanitarian purposes.
