Scholarships in China form bridge with Argentina

More than 50 Argentine students who received grants to study in China came together to share their experiences and academic life in China.

This Saturday, in the House of Chinese Culture in Buenos Aires, Chinese Ambassador to Argentina, Yang Wanming, led the meeting of former grantees, whom he described as promoters of rapprochement and friendship between the two countries.

Surrounded by photographs of former students who have gone through the Chinese classrooms, a warm meeting between the South American country professionals today began.

“These meetings where we can meet former grantees are important to visualize an important issue. Argentine people went to China with different professional backgrounds, we now different careers, but we have a common experience to share in our country.”

Karina Fiezzoni, a lawyer considers that these scholarships are “excellent, because he learned to be a bridge, and now her city, Bahia Blanca, is twinned with the Chinese city of Dalian.”

The meeting ended with another experience: the former grantees prepared Chinese snacks to entertain the audience.
