Japan’s justice minister Mitsuhide Iwaki has visited the war-linked Yasukuni Shrine, who was the second minister in Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s Cabinet to do so. It came a day after some 90 lawmakers made a pilgrimage to the site on Friday. Their action follows Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s ritual offering of a “masakaki” tree to the shrine.
