See why China’s beautiful Wudalianchi won UNESCO’s top honor

The Wudalianchi nature reserve in northeastern China’s Heilongjiang Province has been recognized with the Michel Batisse Award at the 4th World Congress of Biosphere Reserves in Lima, Peru. The reserve features extensive volcanic geologic landforms, and a documentary was filmed detailing its innovative solutions to promote environmental conservation, ecology and sustainable development.
