Shandong mine collapse rescue stops as missing miners unlikely to survive

Chinese authorities have terminated a search and rescue operation at a Pingyi gypsum mine in eastern Shandong Province, which collapsed on the Christmas eve. After over a month of rescue efforts, the team decided to stop operation from Saturday. On Jan. 29th, four trapped miners were saved, but experts said the remaining 13 missing are unlikely to survive.
