Shanghai starts panda-shaped bins to collect clothes

More than 800 panda-shaped collection bins have hit the streets in Shanghai as a part of the campaign to call on residents to donate their old clothes. Each bin has a capacity of about 60 kilograms and is installed with an infrared ray sensor. When the bin reaches its 70% limit, it will automatically notify the collection agent. About 4,000 bins will be added across Shanghai this year.
