A Tibetan Lamaist temple in Shangri-La in southwest China’s Yunnan Province has set a record for the biggest exhibition of Buddhist art. The exhibition features 1,699 scrolls. The Guinness World Record certification officer Gulnaz Ukassova presented the certificate at Sunday’s opening. The paintings on display showcase not only the development of Buddhist art, but also Tibetan lifestyles.
