Shenzhen landslide: 78 excavators & 1,200 rescuers added to the search

Seventy-eight excavators and 1,200 rescuers have been mobilized and added to the search for the 91 people missing after the landslide in Shenzhen. The excavators arrived at the site on Monday morning. An initial investigation shows that 33 buildings have been buried or damaged. PetroChina, owner of China’s major West-to-East natural gas pipeline that exploded as the landslide occurred, said it has emptied the 400-meter-long ruptured pipe and is building a temporary replacement.
