Shinzo Abe says Japan not considering apology letters on ‘comfort women’ issue

During a Diet budgetary committee meeting, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said a deal struck between Tokyo and Seoul last December did not require Japan to issue letters of apology regarding sex slaves during WWII known as, ‘comfort women’, when tens of thousands of women from Korea and other Asian countries were forced to serve Japanese soldiers.
