Singapore affected by severe smog

Air pollution in Singapore reached its most worrying level in a year on Thursday, caused by neighboring Indonesia’s forest fires. The National Environment Agency revealed that the Pollutant Standards Index hit 160 in the late afternoon. The index is way above the official “unhealthy” number of 100, and even close to 200 which is considered “very unhealthy”.
