Singapore Airlines won’t extend lease of first Airbus A380 jet

Singapore Airlines, or SIA, has decided not to renew the lease on its oldest Airbus A380 jet, when its ten-year contract will expire next year. The jet is among the first batch of its Airbus fleet. The move came after SIA’s regular review of fleet requirements, adding that it had ordered five new A380s to be delivered next year.
