Singapore pollution:Certain districts chosen to pilot car-free program

In Singapore, the government is looking at ways to mitigate air pollution and embrace a greener environment. In a pilot program, starting February, some roads in two districts of the city will be car-free in the morning of the last Sunday of each month. When the program begins, almost five kilometers of road will be free for pedestrians and cyclists.
