Singapore, US navies in midst of second edition of bilateral exercise Pacific Griffin

The Singapore and US navies are in the midst of the second edition of Exercise Pacific Griffin. MINDEF said the bilateral exercise highlights the strong ties between both navies and their
long-standing defence relations. Exercise Pacific Griffin is being held in waters off Guam and
its naval base, which provides Singapore’s navy with the space for realistic at-sea training. Drills include using missiles to intercept aerial targets and torpedoes to combat underwater threats.
