Social media impacts China-Africa ties

The use of social media is continuing to gain momentum across Africa. People across the continent are more drawn to Facebook and Twitter, while Chinese use Weibo and QQ. Despite the different apps, social media is profoundly impacting ties between the two regions. It’s hoped that at some point in the future, the two regions would be able to share their social media experiences on similar platforms to further enhance interaction.
