South African students march on capital protesting against fees

Thousands of South African students marched to government offices in Pretoria on Friday, protesting over the cost of education. They say high fees are prolonging racial inequality, two decades after the end of the country’s apartheid regime. After a week of protests, student leaders are due to meet with President Jacob Zuma and university professors at the Union Buildings to press their case.
