Hundreds of legal scholars gathered in Hong Kong to discuss international maritime law and norms for settling disputes in a two-day conference that ended earlier Saturday. The South China Sea issue was a major topic of discussion at the conference. Many participants questioned the authority and findings of the Hague arbitration panel that announced its ruling on the South China Sea earlier this week. CCTV’s Li Jiejun reports.
