South China Sea: Chinese fishermen’s 395 days of imprisonment in the Philippines

Two Chinese ships were fishing in waters around Half Moon Shoal of the Nansha Islands on May 6, 2014, when several armed men from two Philippine boats boarded one of the ships forcibly, detaining the fishermen on board. The Chinese fishermen were asked and forced to sign documents to admit that they were fishing in the territorial waters of the Philippines. Watch the video to find out more.
