Islands sovereignty and maritime boundaries are the key disputes in the South China Sea. The dotted, or the nine-dash line is the basis for China’s claims in the South China Sea. China stands by its “indisputable sovereignty” saying it’s based on historical evidence. CCTV’s Han Bin explains what the dotted line means.
