South Korean and Japanese FMs to discuss “comfort women”

South Korea’s foreign minister will meet with his Japanese counterpart in Seoul next week to discuss Japan’s sex slavery of Korean women during World War Two. The South Korean foreign ministry said on Friday that the ministers will discuss a number of topics, including the victims of Japan’s wartime sexual slavery. South Korea has called on Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to make a “sincere” apology and properly compensate for the Korean “comfort women.”
