South Korean navy, coast guard hold joint training

South Korea has launched a series of measures to counter what it claims to be “possible terrorist attacks” by its neighbor, the DPRK. South Korea’s Yonhap agency reports the military is pushing to create an additional state-level army unit. On Thursday, the South Korean navy held a joint exercise in the East Sea with the Coast Guard to counter potential attacks on the sea.
