South Sudan: Extra measures to be put in place to protect peacekeepers, civilians

President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, has said it was unfortunate that Chinese peacekeepers were killed during recent clashes in the country. South Sudan currently hosts around 12,500 UN peacekeepers who protect more than 150,000 South Sudanese sheltering in various UN compounds across the country. CCTV’s Patrick Oyet has the story.
