South Sudan violence to top African Union summit agenda

The renewed fighting in South Sudan is set to dominate an African Union summit, which is due to take place in Rwanda’s capital city of Kigali on Sunday. The conflict between the forces of President Salva Kirr and Vice President Riek Machar has killed more than 300 people. Taking place in the capital city of Juba, the fighting has forced around 40,000 people to flee their homes.
