South Sudan violence: Two Chinese peacekeepers airlifted back to Beijing

Two Chinese UN peacekeepers, who were seriously injured during the recent fighting in South Sudan, have been airlifted to Beijing for specialized treatment. A mortar shell hit the peacekeepers’ armored vehicle last Sunday, as clashes between the two army factions continue in the capital Juba. Two Chinese UN peacekeepers were killed and five others injured.
