SpaceX lands booster rocket on ocean platform for the first time

US space firm SpaceX successfully landed the first stage of its Falcon 9 rocket on Friday on an ocean platform for the first time in the Atlantic Ocean, after four previous failed attempts.
 
The reusable booster rocket landed after propelling the unmanned Dragon cargo spacecraft into orbit, carrying supplies for astronauts at the International Space Station (ISS).
