Polls in the lead up to Spain’s 2015 general election on December 20 show that Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy’s People’s Party is receiving most votes but falling well short of a majority in parliament. With the Spanish economy returning to growth in 2013, the People’s Party has promised to cut income tax and create two million jobs over the next four years, if they stay in power.
